This marked the first milestone of creating a structure using steel frames with bolts and nuts in a class room. Very admirable for the HOD Science Mrs Janice Gan to make such a bold attempt to include Basic Kairobot Training as part of the physic curriculum.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Before starting the lesson the following questions were asked:&lt;br /&gt;1) How many of you have a set of screw drivers at home ?&lt;br /&gt;   Answer: 70% of the class said yes&lt;br /&gt;2) How many of you have ever changed an electric bulb ?&lt;br /&gt;   Answer: 50% of the class said yes&lt;br /&gt;3) How many of you have used screw drivers to make some items of interest ?&lt;br /&gt;   Answer: None.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Children are our future and we need to start them early with the logic, the principles and programming associated with robots so that their interest in technology grows with them," explains Julia Chang, spokesperson for the Korean Robotic company, Kaimax. "While they have fun, they are learning, competing and improving their understanding of physics, pulleys, energy and electronics beyond the textbook."
